I used to bunk off school to go fishing, then I spent my teens on the Tay and the Esks, and then I quit my office job to set up Salmo, it was all a natural progression.

Some years later, I’ve now assembled a handpicked team of the best connected, finest fly fishers in the business, and together we’re hosting trips on the most coveted beats in Scotland as well as excursions to exciting rivers in Argentina, Canada, Russia and further afield.

We’re fanatical about offering clients outstanding levels of service from start to finish, providing first class accommodation and unstuffy hospitality alongside pulsating fishing.  Whether you’re a rookie or an old hand, we can help with pre-trip planning and the chance to brush up on your skills.

Ever since my escapades as a boy, I’ve being gripped by the sheer adrenaline rush that comes with the sport. My passion now is sharing that sense of adventure, using our collective knowledge and address book to put clients on the right water in the right conditions.
